Speaker bio
Liam Cronin has 20 years experience working with Microsoft, starting in Localization in the European Development Centre. From 1997-2010, Liam was Academic Engagement Manager, which involved promoting the Imagine Cup, curriculum adaption and student/academic access to Microsoft software. In his current role as Compete & Open Source Lead, Liam is part of the Sales and Marketing/Developer Platform Evangelism (DPE) team building relationships with the Open Source community in Ireland and identifying what key competitors to Microsoft are delivering to Irish customers and partners.
