Repeats for full time students - IMPORTANT

Full time students:

Repeat exams take place in September. You have to register with the exams office to take the repeat exams.

If you received a Repeat Continuous Assessment (RCA) or Repeat All Components (RAC) code in semester 1, you must contact the lecturer of that course urgently and make an arrangement to resubmit your continuous assessment work this semester.

If you fail any subjects this semester you can retake the exam in the supplemental sitting in September, but any CA cannot be repeated until the first semester of next year. This means you will have to pay another half years fees to DIT.

You must pass all subjects to be allowed to register for the Research Project and Dissertation subject in May. You may be allowed to carry one subject, but if you fail more than one subject you will have to pass those and come back in the next academic year to do your thesis. This will also mean you will have to pay another half years fees to DIT.

If you need further information, please see the course document and the DIT general Assessment Regulations.
